Project: Johannesburg

Pastors David & Paige have decided to serve as interim pastors for a church in Johannesburg, South Africa for a season. To accomplish this mission, we’re calling on our partners, friends and family to help support DDM by faithfully committing a one year monthly support plan of at least: $100, $50 or $25 a month. In doing this, you officially partner with DDM and become an integral part of all we are doing.

This church is connected to our ministry, and we believe in what they’re doing, but they’ve been struggling recently and need our help. It’s a strategic move in our vision to keep Empowering the kingdom of God. We are officially doing this as a DDM project, and are holding true to our calling of Evangelizing the world and Equipping the nations. That being said, some of our goals for the next year are to:

To make this transformational mission trip a reality, we’re reaching out to those of you who feel compelled to give and financially support this spirit-led mission. We often say, “Those who can’t come with us, send us…” and it’s those faithful people (like you) who allow us to do what God has called us to do.

Why is it important to be part of what we’re doing? In the Bible, Jesus commands us to, “Go, and teach all nations…” (Matthew 28:19).  But what does that look like today? Not everyone can literally “Go...” Samuel 30:24 also talks about those who are called to stay by the "stuff" and those who are to "go...” But those who cannot go can definitely send, and that’s where we come in. By sending us on your behalf, it's as if you are going yourself. By giving on a monthly basis and supporting our mission, you are there working with us—in heart and in spirit—on the mission field; reaching the lost; and in building the kingdom of God... “All will share alike.” That’s a beautiful thing! We both receive the same reward as we work together to fulfill the Great Commission!
